White and Yellow Leopard Gecko

White and Yellow-Leopard Gecko

Findings about origin and distinctive traits:

The White and Yellows weren’t offered in North America until recently; they first appeared at random in a European collection in 1996. They are a dominant trait, and when they were originally found, the progeny appeared to have a large concentration of either white or yellow. For these reasons, the term “White and Yellow” was later coined. High white sides, a wide white band at the nape of the neck, dorsal striping, dazzling white tails, high contrast colors, and faded and diminished spotting are just a few of their distinctive characteristics. Even though the White and Yellows are not a brand-new morph, not much research has been done on them up until now. The limited work that has been done with them, meanwhile, has produced some intriguing findings. It is thought that the White and Yellows, when joined to create additional morphs like the Enigma, have an augmenting quality.
