Super Hypo Leopard Gecko

Super Hypo Leopard Gecko

How are super hypos differing from hypo leopard morph?

A leopard gecko without any black patches on its back is known as a super hypo or super hypo melanistic leopard gecko. Super Hypos can be anything from drab to vividly yellowish in hue. Contrary to the Hypos, which are assumed to be codominant, Super Hypo is a line-bred feature. Many Super Hypos resemble Hypos up to adulthood, but as they become older, they start to lose their spots.

Appearance:

The head frequently has patches and is typical. Super Hypos typically have patches on their heads. Super Hypo Baldy would be the term for lines of super hypo that do not have any spots on their heads, which is not rare. A Super Hypo Leopard Gecko has no spots on its body. It frequently has a lighter hue than leopard geckos of the wild variety. A Super Hypo Leopard Gecko’s tail has spots and appears normal. Although having a carrot tail is prevalent among Super Hypos, it is not a requirement for the gecko to carry the Super Hypo designation.
