The plant Rafflesia Arnoldii, also known as the “corpse flower,” is renowned for growing the biggest individual blossom on Earth. Both nature lovers and botany enthusiasts are curious about it because of its unusual appearance and unpleasant smell.
Rafflesia Arnoldii is a plant that exhibits a wide range of amazing morphological traits. The flower, which can grow up to one metres (3 feet) in diameter and weigh more than 11 kilograms (24 pounds), draws attention wherever it blooms. Its attractive petals have a velvety texture and range in colour from light cream to deep red.
Care
The host plant can support the growth of the bloom in soil that is neutral, acidic, or even alkaline. If a flower is too far from the closest water supply, it will not grow. It can flourish between 490 and 1024 metres above sea level.
