Which crossing is responsible for originating this leopard?
They originated from rare crossings of Blood lines, Gecko Genetics (Mandarin), and Pacific green/Sykes emerine. The brand was started in 2010 with a really special gecko hatch.
Unique feature among morphs:
Some really unusual geckos that kept their purple coloration on their heads and bodies. Matt from Sasobek gave them the nickname “Purple Head,” which eventually became their official name.
Not all individuals with purple heads actually have purple heads. The body’s overall undertone of lavender/purple coloring appears to be what gives this line its vivid red hues.
Most PHs begin their growth in a quite bland manner, with color intensifying with aging. They appear to be among the lines where adults retain color the best.
