Temperature

Plumerias are not tolerant of extreme cold. Their preferred temperature range is 60 to 75 °F.

They often don’t mind the heat, although in arid locations the excessive heat will dry them out too rapidly.

Repotting

When given the right care, frangipani trees can develop quickly and may require repotting every one to two years. They need to be sized up if roots start to protrude from the drainage holes or if development stops.

Put them in a container that is 2-4″ bigger than the present one in the spring. Expect some leaf loss or drooping as the plant recovers and replant it at the same depth. Refresh the top few inches of dirt and cut back part of the roots to control their size.
