Lemon Frost Leopard Gecko

Lemon-Frost Leopard Gecko

Unique trait as tumors developing

Gourmet Rodents hatched the first Lemon Frost leopard gecko between 2012 and 2013. 2015 saw Steve Sykes purchase a pair of Lemon Frost leopard geckos at an auction. Sykes saw tumors developing on the children after a year. He tried to cut the morph away from the tumors, but it didn’t work. A few geckos visited evolutionary scientist Leonid Kruglyak for study.

Distinguishing character

The defining quality of “Lemon Frosts” is an increase in the brightness of their whites and yellows. Imagine it as a “W/Y” or “Hypo” on the up and up steroids.

Appearance

A head stamp with green/yellow and black patterns can be found on the head of a Lemon Frost leopard gecko. The head stamp frequently gets more spots as the gecko gets older. Particularly in the super form, the head might occasionally appear distorted. A Lemon Frost leopard gecko has a body that is initially colored yellow and black. Age-related spots will start to emerge on the gecko. Age can also cause tumors to develop. A Lemon Frost leopard gecko frequently has a dark tail with light patterning. It develops spots with age, just like the rest of the gecko.
