One of the youngest breeds of dogs in Germany is the Kromfohrländer. Additionally, he is not well recognized among dog enthusiasts. He is suitable for single folks looking for a companion dog. He does, however, blend in with families with kids. They shouldn’t surround him though and prevent him from making a retreat. Seniors need to be active. Because he needs to be active and busy enough.

Behavior

The Kromfohrländer, as he is affectionately known, is a devoted and good-natured Kromi. He always wants to be near his human. The breed is more of a “One-man dog.” However, because of its amiable and fun character, it is also appropriate for families with young children. According to legend, Kromfohrländer maintained their joy and liveliness far into old age.

Care as a Pet/ In Captivity

The Kromfohrländer is generally simple to maintain. It doesn’t have an offensive “dog smell” or natural odor as other dogs have.

You only need to give the smooth-haired cromis the occasional brushing to maintain his coat. You should apply it more frequently when his coat is changing and he is shedding a lot. Two times a year, smooth dogs shed their old coats.

Food

Avoid feeding your Kromi dry food and prepared meals whenever possible. Give him wholesome, freshly prepared food, including fresh meat, vegetables, and cereal. To the beef, you add flakes and pureed veggies. The general guideline is 60% meat, 30% vegetables, 10% grains, and some oil.

Your Kromi needs to eat between 3 and 6 percent of its body weight each day. There are companies that sell high-quality frozen meat and will even transport it to your house for your dog. The basic recipe provided should be customized for your canine companion and his unique metabolism.

Exercise

Despite their diminutive size, the Kromfohrlander need to exercise frequently—at least 30 minutes every day. They enjoy playing a variety of games and have a lot of enthusiasm. They can be entertained and kept happy with toys, puzzles, and company.
