Description:

The Kaghani highlands, where the breed was first developed, inspired its name. An animal of modest size is the kaghani goat. They have a white, brown, gray, or black body hue. Their entire body is covered in lengthy hair.

The animals are easily maintained and do well in challenging conditions.

Behavior:

Although this breed is renowned for its reserved nature, with the right upbringing and instruction, it is tamable. Children get along well with kaghani goats, and they make wonderful pets that are a fantastic source of friendship.

The Kaghani goat is excellent for producing cashmere fiber in addition to meat.

Origin/History:

The Hazara district’s valley is where the domesticated goat breed known as Kaghani originated. They were also widely distributed in Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province.

Yet, the Kaghan valley, after which they are named, is their primary residence. It is a hybrid of the Dera Din Panah and Beetal goat breeds.
