High Yellow Leopard Gecko

High-Yellow Leopard Gecko

A High Yellow Leopard Gecko has little black markings and a large amount of yellow on its body. There were just two morphs of Leopard Geckos available when they were first brought to the United States: Normals and High Yellows.

This was the initial iteration of the Leopard Gecko’s ‘designer’ morphs. It is simply a regular Leopard Gecko that has been chosen for its abundant golden pigment and little black markings. In practically every Leopard Geckos mating, High Yellow specimens are common. They provide as an example of one extreme of the natural variety observed in confined groups. High Yellow cannot be heated on specimens.
