History of Origin
Albey Scholl of Albey’s Too Cool Reptiles invented the Halloween masks in the late 1990s when he started experimenting with a unique gecko he had just bought. The project was given to Paul Allen of Bright Albino after many years of line breeding and demonstrating the head pattern qualities, and then to several different breeders, including Brittney Gougeon of PacHerp and Ryan Hauser of Retribution Reptiles.
Distinctive Trait:
Halloween Masks are born with striking head designs and distinctive body markings, as well as dark black patterns on their bodies and heads. All the way to adulthood, their courageous characteristics are still evolving and growing.
Around their prominent markings and tail, they can occasionally be extremely dark with lavender. Depending on their mood, temperature, and other factors, premium Halloween masks can shift from a very dark, semi-melanistic coloring to a vivid yellow or bold coloration.
