Behavior/Temperament

The fennec fox is a very social animal. They communicate with different vocalizations that include shrieks, howls, barks, chatters, squeaks, and whimpers. They prefer to live in groups in the wild and are quite gregarious. Fennec foxes act much like energetic, lively tiny dogs and are sometimes kept as pets. Although fennecs have a charming, cuddly appearance, they normally dislike being touched, much alone caressed, and they may bite if they feel threatened or uneasy.

Fennecs need a lot of physical activity since they are fast, nimble, and energetic animals. If given enough time and care, fennecs may be tamed easily. To give  fennec freedom to play within your house is essential if you want to maintain one as an indoor pet because of their active temperament.

Care/Grooming

Fennec foxes must be combed frequently since they shed.  They take great care of themselves and often maintain themselves clean, just seldom requiring a bath. Without having to take a complete bath, you may quickly clean off any filth using baby wipes. Make sure shampoo and flea treatments are suitable for cats and kittens before using them. Nail trimming is also important for them.
