Once this has been determined, it is crucial to follow your cat’s nutrition plan in order to keep it at a healthy weight. Due to the Dwelf cat’s rapid metabolism, it is advisable to keep the cat’s food at a place that is simple to get to.

It’s possible that your cat is finicky and won’t enjoy the food you gave him. Therefore, keep a close check on your cat and be ready to consider different options.

Exercise

The Dwelf needs enough of stimulus every day because it is an active, playful, and social cat. It will enjoy many different toys and games, especially if its devoted owner joins in the fun. It is excellent to have a cat tree in the house to promote jumping and climbing, which can assist the cat’s rear legs become stronger.

Grooming

A hairless cat might seem to require the least amount of grooming care, but the opposite is actually true because of its delicate and exposed physique. Without fur, oil buildup is possible without adequate maintenance. The oil in your Dwelf cat can block pores and leave you with a greasy cat if it is not routinely bathed, at least once a week. The Dwelf’s skin is wrinkled, therefore when bathing, additional care should be taken to avoid the skin folds. Make sure to get rid of any accumulated dirt so that bacteria can’t harm the cat’s skin. Use warm water and a shampoo that your veterinarian has advised, and make sure to regularly clean the cat’s bedding, bed and toys.

Since the Dwelf has no fur to protect it from the sun, its skin is particularly susceptible to it. To assist your cat stay safe outside, you can purchase pet-friendly sunscreen, but it’s preferable to keep the Dwelf inside if at all possible. In order to stay warm and cozy during the winter, it will also require additional blankets and cozy sweaters.
