Grooming
All domestic cats require routine care to maintain healthy coats. Shorthairs require weekly brushing, and they shed more frequently in certain seasons. Fur balls and matting are reduced as a result. While most people can maintain themselves very clean, sometimes a bath is necessary. To keep happy and healthy, Domestic Shorthair cats need to have their nails cut and their teeth brushed on a regular basis.
