The crest can be plain or patterned and is available in a range of colors, including white, black, brown, and grey. Chinese Owl Pigeons are distinguished by their distinctive looks. They feature a small head, a short neck, and a spherical body. Their feathered feet, which resemble boots, are what makes them stand out the most.
Origin/ Habitat
Chinese owl pigeons have been bred in China for more than 600 years, where they had their start. They were initially raised as ornamental birds but eventually gained popularity among fans of pigeon racing.
Behavior
Chinese Owl Pigeons are renowned for their placid, submissive personalities. They are well-liked by bird watchers since they are not aggressive and are typically simple to handle. These birds are also bright and inquisitive, frequently acting lively and curious.
They can be kept in pairs or small groups and are gregarious creatures. Although Chinese Owl Pigeons aren’t especially noisy, they do occasionally make mild cooing noises that are calming and enjoyable to hear.

Feed
Chinese owl pigeon feed needs to be of excellent quality and mold- and mildew-free. Grain products like corn, white millet and hemp seeds should be included in the diet.
