Appearance

A dog breed without hair is the Chinese Crested Dog. The Chinese Crested Dog is available in three varieties—the Hairless, the Powderpuff, and the Hairy-Hairless—with hair, without hair, and a combination of the two, which can all be born in the same litter. The coat of a Powderpuff is lengthy and plush. The Powderpuff and Hairless types can coexist in the same litter. Depending on how it is groomed, the Powderpuff has a different appearance. When the Powderpuff’s facial hair is fully grown out, it strongly resembles a terrier; nevertheless, the Powderpuff’s snout is typically shaved as a regular cut. Elegant and graceful, the Powderpuff Chinese Crested Dog is a fun and enjoyable canine friend. The Powderpuff has a long, silky-soft coat. Large and upright ears.

Food

However, because Chinese Cresteds have a tendency to gain weight, their diet should include biologically suitable proteins, healthy fats, ground bones, and vegetables—which are a rich source of vital vitamins and minerals.

Exercise

Chinese crested dogs benefit most from daily mental and physical activity. This breed will get enough activity from a few quick walks each day to stay in good health. They are little and can be fairly sensitive, yet they are athletic and enjoy playing. For the majority of young children, they are not sturdy enough, but they can be a great match for sensitive families or older children who want to learn how to train canines.

Grooming

These dogs need extra assistance and care when it comes to grooming in addition to appropriate exercise. Like other longhaired breeds, the powderpuff variant requires a lot of grooming, and both varieties of Chinese crested dogs need their nails and teeth cleaned on a regular basis.

Outdoors, the hairless breed of these canines needs closer supervision. They require clothing or sunscreen to avoid sunburn, and their skin is susceptible to rashes, irritation, scrapes, and other skin-related issues. This breed is not the easiest to care for if you want a dog to play with outside.
