Appearance
The distinctive look of bronzite, which resembles bronze metal, is well-known. Its color is usually bronze-brown with a metallic sheen, but it can also appear in green or brown tones. The stone has a moderate Mohs hardness, ranging from 5.5 to 6.5, and frequently has a fibrous or granular texture. It has a specific gravity of 3.2–3.4.

Around the world, bronzite is found in Brazil, Austria, Finland, India, Norway, South Africa, and the United States, among other places.
History
Max Ostro, a British explorer, found and mined the origins of this gem in Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 1960. The largest cut topaz ever displayed at a museum is currently on display at the UK Natural History Museum. The jewel weighs 9,381 carats in total and is 15 centimeters long by 10.5 centimeters wide.

Metaphysical beliefs state that we are grounded by bronzite. It encourages certainty and clarity in decision-making and behavior. Though bronzite has been dubbed the “stone of courtesy” due to its ability to instill politeness, they are not bold acts.
Chemical Composition
The mineral bronzite is a member of the orthopyroxene subgroup of the pyroxene group. It is mostly made up of magnesium iron silicate (Mg,Fe)2Si2O6, with different concentrations of manganese (Mn) and calcium (Ca). (Mg,Fe)2Si2O6 is the chemical formula for bronzite.
Uses
Although bronzite is not widely utilized in industry, it is employed in a few commercial applications:
