Booted Goat

Booted Goat

Description:

Although most English-speaking nations refer to this goat as the Booted goat, it is properly known as the Booted goat. Its leg markings give the impression that it is wearing small boots, and it is likewise overseen by the Booted Goat Breeders Club of Switzerland.

A very lovely breed of goat is the Booted. Bucks and does both have horns. Bright gray-brown to dark red-brown is the typical range for coat color, with black or brown markings (black or brown boots).

Typically, they have long beard hairs that are noticeably darker or lighter than the rest of their coat across the back (called Mänteli, which means “small covering”) and over the hind quarter.
