Blue is another popular colour in the American Bully. The gene that causes diluted black produces this colour. The blue coat can range in colour from steel to light blue. The nose of an American Bully is blue as well.

Gene

The D (DILUTE) LOCUS is a genetic mutation that causes dilute coats, which are usually pink and light in color. Dogs with this gene can have a variety of coat colors, but the most common are white, light brown or tan, and blue.
