Bindweed

Bindweed.

The trumpet-shaped blooms and twining stems of bindweed make it simple to recognize. The leaves of bindweed also have a heart shape. The first indication that a plant is a climbing vine will be thin, thread-like vines that closely connect to other plants (hence the name).

Bindweed

Soil

Convolvulus arvensis prefers nutrient-rich, well-drained soil. The plant may even grow next to dumpsters, thus there is no requirement for humus-rich soil. Use regular garden soil that has been composted. Perlite can also be used to increase the material’s permeability. It does best when planted directly into the ground, therefore growing it outside is preferable. If you don’t have enough room, you can simply pot the plant and place it on your balcony.

Water

Convolvulus requires regular watering in short intervals. It can thrive just like any other house plant and doesn’t require a lot of water. When the top two inches of the soil is dry, you must water these plants. It will also be enough to use a sprinkler or spray bottle.

Sunlight

Convolvulus arvensis, also known as field bindweed, is an outdoor plant that needs a lot of sunlight to grow. It would need exposure to the sun for about 5 to 6 hours each day. If the windowsill receives enough sunlight each day, you can plant them there.
