Description

It feels silky to the touch and has a brittle appearance as the dense growth ages. A hairy, drooping peduncle supports the inflorescence, which is made up of solitary or paired yellow flowers with vivid yellow petals and pink-tinged yellow sepals. The fruit of the summer flush is an oblong, up to 30 mm long, originally green-colored, finely haired fruit that resembles a small kiwifruit.
