The medium-sized Appenzeller Sennenhund is a tricolored, somewhat square-built, and balanced herding breed. He makes a good driving, watch, guard, house, or farm dog since he is robust and agile. This active breed will require at least a few hours per day of exercise. This dog enjoys having a task to complete and keeping its mind active. Running, cycling, hiking, long walks, and swimming are all excellent hobbies. Along with physical activity, dog sports like agility and herding trials can also stimulate the mind. Additionally, puzzle toys can present mental difficulties.
It is recommended for this dog to reside in a house with a safe garden where it can run around without fear. It’s not the best for living in a flat or being kenneled for extended amounts of time every day.
Grooming
