The American Milking Devon is a medium-sized breed, with bulls averaging 500 to 600 kilograms (1100 to 1300 pounds) and cows weighing around 100 kilograms (220 pounds) less. a rich, shiny ruby red coat. Horns are medium in length, white, and black-tipped. It can survive high temperatures and thrives on a diet high in forage and low in input.

Use

Population
There are around 500 Milking Devon cows in the United States, according to estimates. Fortunately, it appears that the numbers are rising gradually. These cattle are quite functional, but because of their fascinating early American history, they are also well-liked for exhibition purposes.
