The Rose Bubble Tip Anemone or Rose Anemone is a successive color variation of the Bubble Tip Anemone. The Rose Bubble Tip Anemone is the easiest anemone for beginners who have never been inclined to take care of anemones. . This beautiful anemones are far easier to maintain than any other anemone that we offer for sale. While all anemones are capable of very much in the aquarium, the Rose Anemones anchor themselves and do not move around as much as other anemones. Instead, they rather place column, or foot of their dwelling on the rock and not on the sand.
Behavior:
The Rose Anemone will house Ocellaris, Percula, Maroon, and Gold Maroon Clownfish. It is also important to keep the anemone with the clown fish because the clownfish will feed scraps to the anemone which will help it to adjust quickly.
Tip:
The column, or foot, of the anemone is fragile and can be damaged if one attempts to move the anemone after it has anchored itself to a substrate. Predominantly anemones will not survive from a torn column. Be ready to relocate corals if it is to anchor close to it since it may decide to do so on your ‘gardens’.
Gloves:
It is advisable to wear gloves when handling these flowers or in any other way coming in contact with them. In the case where you have to put the anemone in the water, try to lift it from its undersurface, which is very smooth. This anemone should not be grasped with tongs and it is likewise prohibited to touch it manually.
Placement:
Slow down the water current and then find a space for the Rose Bubble Tip Anemone in a cleft on the rock. You may increase the flow after it has attached, as already described, ejaculatory inevitability is not very likely in masturbation. Do not touch it frequently and try to support it by its slippery foot most of the time. Space the anemone approximately from 3”-5” away from the other corals. This may incidentally remain where you place it or it may not, choose to of its own accord. Should it decide to expand in a different direction, be ready to shift corals to spare them from being in the way. It will not electrify and kill corals and other lifeforms on the spot but they should be relocated within 1-2 days. If you find your Bubble Tip Anemone anchoring in an area you don’t want it to, the flow of the water in the aquarium should be changed so as to make it let go and then re-anchor at the preferred location.
Feeding:
It is recommended to feed large fillet portions of silverside, squid, shrimp and other muscle meals several times a week. Take a feeder stick and just touch the piece of food to the anemone. It will also cling to the food and you do not want this to happen. It is also important not to stick a finger to the anemone.
Lighting & Flow Requirements:
The Bubble Tip Anemone needs moderate water circulation and moderate to high lighting (PAR 220-350). Bubble Tip Anemones can be kept in T5’s, Metal Halides or LED’s if they receive the right PAR levels. It is recommended that a 14-20K color temperature should be used for the best coloration.
Dosing:
Dosing pumps are used and recommended by Vivid Aquariums for the dosing of additives that will keep your levels steadier. A dosing pump saves the trouble of dosing Ca, Alk & Mg in your aquarium 2, 3, or 4 times per week and in turn it shall help improve the health of your aquarium since it provides your aquarium with the required ratio in frequent small portions of Ca, Alk & Mg. Our tanks all improved when we went from 3 manual feedings per week to 70 feedings per week automatically, and we got a lot more done.
